There are many different parenting classes in Arizona, how are the classes offered at Arizona Family Therapy Group different from the rest?
1. Variety of Classes to choose from – Arizona Family Therapy Group offers many different types of parenting classes to meet the various needs of parents. We offer the following classes:
Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun®This parenting class is for parents of children ages 1-6. In this class parents learn how to mean business without being mean. Parents learn effective ways to set limits in a loving way, put an end to whining and arguing, stop morning time frustrations and bedtime hassles, and how to get kids to listen the first time.More |
Becoming a Love and Logic Parent®This parenting class focuses on parenting children ages 7 and older and addresses the unique challenges of raising a teenager. In this class you will learn how to communicate without arguing, how to stop power struggles, and how to help your kids transitions to being a responsible adult.More |
Parenting Kids with ADD/ADHDParents of kids who have been diagnosed with ADD or ADHD know how exhausting parenting can be. This class instills hope for parents who struggle with their kids who have ADD or ADHD symptoms. It also provides evidenced based strategies to help kids with ADD and ADHD learn to be responsible and successful within the family and in school.More |
2. These Classes are Taught by Experienced Therapists and Behavior Coaches – Parenting Classes taught at Arizona Family Therapy Group are taught by licensed therapists who specialize in working with parents and children. These therapists recognize that not all parenting techniques work with each child. Therefore they offer multiple suggestions and adjust the classes to fit the individual circumstances of the parents attending the courses.
3. Return in the future for FREE – Individuals or couples who attend any of the parenting classes offered through Arizona Family Therapy Group are always welcome to return to any future parenting courses for free. That’s right! Parents can come back as many times as they would like to for free.

About The Facilitator
Shiloh Lundahl, LCSW is a licensed mental health therapist who specializes in working with children and families. He previously worked as a clinical supervisor for Easter Seals Blake Foundation providing and overseeing mental health services for children ages 0 to 6. He also provides individual and family therapy. Additionally, Shiloh has years of experience working at residential treatment facilities for at risk teenagers.
